Dr. Lisa Brigstocke qualified from Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2008. Before specialising in General Practice, she spent three years as a Paediatric doctor in the UK and New Zealand, gaining invaluable skills in treating and managing unwell children and infants. Lisa has worked as an NHS GP in Camberley for the past six years and performs joint injections, enabling her to help patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems.

She is committed to delivering unhurried patient-centered care, helping to address any acute or long term-health concerns that affect your wellbeing.

Dr. Brigstocke developed an interest in allergy at an early stage of her training and has continued to develop this whilst perusing a career in primary care. She also works in the adult allergy clinic at Frimley Park Hospital managing a wide spectrum of allergic conditions. Dr. Brigstocke successfully completed her postgraduate certification in Allergy at University Hospital Southampton, the first World Centre for Excellence for Allergy and Immunology. She is passionate in helping allergy patients feel listened to and gain the knowledge to manage their condition without the anxiety that can accompany such a diagnosis.

Outside of medicine Dr. Brigstocke enjoys keeping active through running, playing netball and dog walking.

Dr. Lizzie Brown qualified from Warwick Medical School in 2006 and is a highly experienced GP with over 15 years working in the NHS. She is currently a GP in Surrey and also works in an out of hours acute setting.

Dr. Brown is passionate about family medicine and takes a compassionate, warm and holistic approach. Her specialist interests are mental health and womens heath, including menopause and sexual health. She is skilled and knowledgable around childrens health and development having spent time working in community paediatrics with looked after children and young asylum seekers. Dr. Brown has received specialised training in the assessment and diagnosis of Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further enhancing her commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Mr Murali Bhat is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic and Hand Surgeon with over 30 years in surgical practice, including 20 years as a Consultant in the UK. He is recognised as one of the country’s leading specialists in hand and upper limb surgery - completing over 1,000 carpal tunnel surgeries to date.

Dr. Elizabeth Clark is an experienced GP Partner with over 12 years in general practice, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-focused care to the local community. Since qualifying from Southampton Medical School in 2006, she has worked across multiple hospital settings in Kent and Surrey, gaining a strong foundation in secondary care before moving into general practice.

Dr. Clark's clinical interests include learning disabilities, care of the elderly, and palliative care - areas where she strives to offer thoughtful, holistic support to patients and their families. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Clark is a GP Supervisor, actively involved in the training and development of future general practitioners. She is also a member of the Well Life Clinic ADHD assessment team, contributing to multidisciplinary care for patients with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Dr. Robert Pierce trained at Nottingham University and qualified as a GP in 2006. He worked in Lancashire for 8 years before moving back to his home island of Jersey 10 years ago where he was a partner in a local practice providing a wide range of medical services in this non-NHS setting. He has moved back to the UK to enable his daughter to progress her sporting interests and is working 3 days a week at an NHS practice in Bookham.

Dr. Pierce has developed a special interest in sleep medicine but also enjoys providing a holistic approach to the wide variety of general practice presentations and problems.

Outside of work Dr. Pierce enjoys casual cycling, hiking and reading Russian novels.

Dr. Sammy Bennett graduated from University College London in 2012. After completing her foundation training, she moved to New Zealand where she worked for 2 years in urgent care. She has since moved back to the UK, had 2 children and completed her training in general practice.

After working 2 years as an NHS GP, she moved into the private sector and continues to work for Nuffield Health doing private GP appointments and health assessments.

She has an interest in lifestyle and preventative medicine and is delighted to work at Well Life GP Clinic where she can provide patients with the necessary time and resources to provide outstanding patient care.

Outside of work she is busy with her children and dog and also enjoys running and drawing.

Dr. Jeremy Mudunkotuwe is a Consultant Psychiatrist who has specialised in Adult ADHD. With over a decade of expertise in the assessment and management of Adult ADHD, he has dedicated much of his career to improving the lives of those affected by this condition. For the past six years, Dr. Mudunkotuwe has been a key member of one of the largest NHS services for neurodevelopmental disorders in the country, where he works full-time alongside his role at Well Life Clinic.

Dr. Mudunkotuwe graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in Medicine, before completing his core and higher psychiatric training in London. He became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) in 2008 and went on to become a Consultant in an NHS community mental health team in 2010. There he developed his skills in supporting individuals with mood and anxiety disorders.  

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mudunkotuwe is deeply committed to public and medical education. He has held various influential roles throughout his career, including Honorary Lecturer at the University of London, Locality Tutor, and Training Program Director. He currently serves as the Director of Medical Education at Surrey and Borders Mental Health Foundation Trust.

Dr. Mudunkotuwe was awarded a Master’s in Medical Education from Brighton and Sussex University in 2016.  At Well Life Clinic, he brings a wealth of expertise, compassion, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of those who seek support.

Dr. Naomi Bennett qualified from Sheffield Medical School in 2011. She decided to specialise in General Practice as she values and enjoys building strong, longstanding relationships with her patients and their families. She specialises in Women's Health and is also a British Menopause Society registered Menopause Specialist. Her friendly manner and ability to put people at ease mean that she is easily able to find out what really matters to her patients. Dr. Bennett has received specialised training in the assessment and diagnosis of Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further enhancing her commitment to comprehensive patient care.

In her NHS role, she trains new GPs and also has a Clinical Lead role within the NHS for Integrating Neighbourhood Teams and Community Engagement.

Dr. Ivan Anderson trained and continues to work as a GP in Surrey having graduated from Cardiff University School of Medicine in 2015 following an honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol. Before training as a General Practitioner, Dr. Anderson worked as a doctor in New Zealand.

Dr. Anderson is a certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician through the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) and takes a holistic approach to preventing disease, with a particular interest in health creation. Lifestyle Medicine training includes evidenced-based incorporation of important factors such as physical activity, nutrition and sleep into an individual’s overall wellbeing. As a coach with additional training in behavioural change, he enjoys working with people to reach their unique health goals.

Dr. Anderson’s rugby and rowing days are now over but he continues to run and particularly enjoys walking in the Scottish Highlands. He has a passion for photography and is an active member of his local camera club. Dr Anderson enjoys being outdoors with his young family and is a trained Health and Nature Facilitator.

Dr. Amit Seyan qualified from King's College London in 2011 and has been a GP partner for the past 5 years. He has developed a keen interest in mental health and dementia, utilising exercise and movement as medicine, healthcare technology, and preventative medicine. Dr. Seyan is passionate about exploring innovative technological solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care in primary care settings. He is also a trustee of the Stem4 teenage mental health charity, working towards improving access to help for teenagers who suffer with mental health concerns. Dr. Sana Hassan is a highly experienced general practitioner based in Surrey. She obtained her medical degree from the prestigious King Edward Medical University in Pakistan in 2004. Currently, she holds the position of GP Partner in the Redhill area, demonstrating her dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community.

Dr. Hassan is a skilled and knowledgeable clinician who has developed a particular expertise in joint injections and minor surgical procedures. Dr. Priyum Shah qualified from King's College London in 2013 and has been practising as a GP since 2018. She has developed a strong interest in minor surgery and joint injections, and is currently expanding her expertise in dermatology. As an educator, she trains Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctors, helping them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to provide excellent patient care.

Dr. Paul Hamilton is a highly experienced General Practitioner with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. He qualified from the University of Nottingham in 1994 and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr Hamilton is a Partner at Caterham Valley Medical Practice. He has been a Surrey Heartlands GP Clinical Lead and the East Surrey GP Clinical Lead for Adult and Children’s Mental Health, Children’s Services, Learning Disability and Dementia since 2015. He has significantly contributed to regional healthcare initiatives, serving as the GP Representative for the East Surrey Adult Mental Health Steering Group and the East Surrey Children’s Steering Group. He also chairs the East Surrey Learning Disability Working Group and the Dementia Working Group and has been a GP Trainer since 2014. Dr. Hamilton has received specialised training in the assessment and diagnosis of Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further enhancing his commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Bahar Maybrey qualified as a GP (MRCGP) from the East of England Deanery in 2010 having spent several years working in acute medicine in hospitals in Hertfordshire and became a partner in a large GP practice in Surrey in 2015.

Dr. Maygrey also specialises in women’s health and runs the family planning clinic fitting different types of coils and implants as well as having special interests in psycho-sexual medicine and consulting with patients for various issues which arise from psycho-sexual disorders.

Dr. Josephine York qualified in 1998 from the University of Sheffield. She is a highly experienced GP with over 16 years as a GP Partner.  

Dr. York is currently a GP Partner, a Board member of a local Primary Care Network (PCN) and and Clinical Lead for Frailty at the PCN. She has a special interest in Women’s Health including contraception and sexual health. Dr. York also has expertise in Frailty, managing multi-morbidities, poly pharmacy and personalised medicine. She also has experience in general medicine.

Dr. York has lived in Reigate for 15 years with her husband and 2 children.

Dr. Kate Teasdale is an experienced GP partner working in a large NHS practice in Caterham, with over 28 years of experience. She qualified from St. George's Hospital in 1991 and has developed expertise in women's health, specifically in perimenopause and menopause care and is an accredited coil fitter.

Dr. Teasdale is dedicated to providing holistic care to her patients, taking into consideration various factors such as sleep quality, cardiovascular health, diet, stress management, and cancer prevention. She has special interests in sexual and reproductive health, obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as child health and remains committed to ongoing professional development to ensure the highest quality of care for her patients.

Dr. Hijab Khan is the Clinical Lead for ADHD at Well Life Clinic.

Dr. Khan is a Surrey based GP Principal and Trainer with over 16 years of experience in General Practice. She qualified from Dow Medical College, Pakistan in 2000 and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

She a partner at the House Partnership in Redhill where she leads the mental health services, and her special interests include all aspects of mental health, including ADHD, Severe mental illness, anxiety and depression and other neuro diverse conditions.

Dr. Khan has lived in Surrey for over 25 years and has worked locally with the Police Department to improve community links and train members in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. She also is a volunteer at Royal Marsden Hospital Trust.

We are privileged to have Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Dr Rashmi Verma who is our expert in Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry, focusing on ADHD and Autism. She has over 20 years of experience working as a doctor in the NHS and is conducting all of our ADHD assessments for children between 6-18 years of age.

Dr Verma is known for her ability to build trust and rapport with patients and their families, making her a respected figure in the field. She emphasises the importance of early identification of neurodevelopmental difficulties, ensuring that assessments are comfortable and reassuring. She also has 3 children of her own and understands the apprehension and overwhelm that families may feel when considering an assessment.

Extensive Expertise

Graduating from the University of Sheffield School of Medicine in 2004, Dr Verma has specialised in neurodevelopmental conditions since 2011, as a Consultant Lead since 2015. Her work spans a variety of psychiatric specialties at renowned institutions in Central London such as Guy's and St Thomas's, University College London, The Royal Free and The Whittington hospitals, as well as specialist Child and Adolescent training at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. She therefore also has in-depth knowledge of general child and adolescent mental health.

Dr Verma has worked as a Lead Consultant in The Tavistock Autism Service, where she worked for 12 years before moving to Surrey. Since 2018, she continues to work as a Consultant locally in Surrey and Borders Partnership Trust, where she has worked in both the ADHD and Autism Services.  In 2022, in order to reduce waiting times and improve patient/family experience, she started the process of conducting dual assessments for children where both Autism and ADHD is suspected, conducting over 100 dual assessments so far.

Comprehensive ADHD Assessments

At Well Life GP Clinic, Dr Verma conducts thorough ADHD assessments for children and adolescents, which are of the highest gold standard and therefore widely accepted by the NHS and elsewhere. She also screens for Autism where this is wanted. Her holistic approach integrates insights from educational/additional settings and always includes in-person meetings with the young person, alongside accommodating online consultations for parents and caregivers. She works diligently to ensure accurate diagnoses and provides a thorough report with resources and recommendations.

As an Approved Clinician and a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists Neurodevelopmental Special Interest Group, Dr Verma is committed to providing high-quality, up-to-date care.

Dr. Rakesh Patel qualified from Barts and The London Medical School in 2013. Subsequently, he developed a particular interest in Children’s Health, Metabolic Medicine and Urgent Care. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and serves as the Clinical Lead of Urgent Primary Care at East Surrey Hospital. With his wide range of experience, Dr. Patel uses a holistic approach to each patient, with a keen eye on preventative and lifestyle medicine.

Outside of work, he is a core member of the Outreach and Healthcare Team at BAPS Charities. When he’s not working, he enjoys keeping fit and is an avid cricket fan.

Dr. Kerstin O'Connor is an experienced GP, working as a GP partner in a large NHS practice in Surrey. She qualified from Leicester University Medical School in 1996.

Dr. O'Connor has a specialist interest in metabolic medicine and has a diploma in "Diabetes in Primary Care", focusing on the management of type 2 diabetes. She feels passionate about providing excellent, holistic patient care, involving patients in their treatment choices and encouraging them - where appropriate - to take ownership for improving their health by making the necessary life style changes.

She also holds a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology and is a GP trainer, supervising young doctors in their GP training. Dr. O'Connor is PCN Education Lead for her local primary care network and has also received specialised  training in the assessment and diagnosis of Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further enhancing her commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Amanda Springett qualified from Imperial college, London and has over 20 years’ clinical and leadership experience working in the NHS as a GP. She has an expertise in women’s health, perimenopause and menopause care and is a member of the British Menopause Society. With her additional functional medicine training, she takes a holistic approach to helping women reach their optimum health through consideration to sleep, cardiovascular health, diet, stress management and cancer prevention.

Dr. Springett has special interests and holds diplomas in sexual and reproductive health, obstetric and gynaecology as well as child health.

Dr. Maria Nyekiova qualified from Barts and The London Medical School in 2010. As a compassionate and dedicated GP, she takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on the overall well-being of each individual. She has a special interest in mental health, addressing a wide range of conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more severe mental health issues. She is deeply committed to supporting child health, frailty, musculoskeletal problems (including joint injections), and skin problems, always striving to provide personalised care that enhances her patients' quality of life. Dr. Nyekiova has received specialised training in the assessment and diagnosis of Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), further enhancing her commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Dr. Nyekiova is a GP Partner at a local practice and looks after a local care home, ensuring high-quality care for residents. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as the Mental Health Lead for her Local Primary Care Network (PCN), where she has played a key role in developing mental health services that meet the needs of the community.

Outside of work, she enjoys perfecting her gluten-free baking skills, travelling, and embracing the refreshing challenge of cold water swimming.

Dr. Tabassum Siddiqui is an International medical graduate and moved to the United Kingdom in 1995. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has over 15 years experience as a GP. She is currently a local GP Partner and board member of a local Primary Care Network.

Dr. Siddiqui has worked with a special interest in Gynaecology underpinning her interest in Women’s Health and always aiming to provide high quality care. She is a keen educator and as a GP trainer has successfully trained over 20 GPs since 2010. She has been a member of the Growing Health Initiative, which brings awareness of health and well-being to bring about positive change in people’s lives. Dr. Nicholas Merritt is a local GP and member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Having qualified as a physiotherapist in 2001, he subsequently achieved his medical degree in 2006. He is currently a GP Partner at Oxted Health Centre with extensive experience in both acute and general medicine. His specialist interests lie in metabolic medicine and diabetes and is passionate about providing excellent quality healthcare to his patients.
