What is Right To Choose
and your eligibility

If you are aged 18 and over and are registered with a GP in England, you now have a legal right to choose your preferred NHS approved provider for your ADHD assessment.

Please download a self-referral form from our website, give it to your GP and they send it to us. We take care of the rest.

FAQs

Do I need to pay as you’re a private clinic?

No. Right to Choose ADHD assessments are fully funded by the NHS, with no private fees. Medication will be issued on an NHS prescription, standard NHS prescriptions charges may apply (unless you are exempt).

How long will I have to wait?

Wait times at Well Life Clinic are one of the shortest in the UK.

Are there any age limitations?

We offer NHS Right to Choose ADHD assessments for adults aged 18 and over.

Can my GP refuse my request?

No - the NHS cannot legally reject your request for a referral to us unless there is clear evidence of a safety issue.

You’re based in Surrey. Do you offer assessments across the UK?

Yes, we offer virtual appointments with NHS GPs nationwide.

Can you prescribe medication as well as offering assessments?

Yes we can. The support we offer covers consultation and diagnosis through to prescriptions and medication reviews.
